About the Morris Pratt Institute

Morris Pratt Institute has provided educational opportunities in Modern American Spiritualism for over 130 years. Courses are offered for those seeking knowledge in the Religion, Science and Philosophy of Modern American Spiritualism. Students come to MPI to advance their knowledge and understanding of Spiritualism as well as to train to serve others.

APPROVED CERTIFICATIONS

Our courses in Modern American Spiritualism provide the necessary education and preparation for those seeking certification through the National Spiritualist Association of Churches (NSAC). Available certifications are Ordained Minister, Spiritualist Teacher, Licentiate Minister, Commissioned Spiritualist Healer, or Certified Medium.

Self-Paced, On-Demand Courses

The curriculum on Modern American Spiritualism is divided into six courses.

We believe the love of learning should never be pressured. For this reason, students are able to access each course as they are ready and progress at their own pace. Written exams may be reviewed and graded by credentialed examiners. Students seeking certification must pass the written part of each course.
